You have seen a 30 year old lady on the ward who has a recent diagnosis of cancer and mentioned to the consultant that her father of the same cancer and her sister is currently being tested. Your consultant suggests it may be appropriate to refer the family for genetic testing. Please draw a pedigree to send with the referral, based on the family history in the notes:
"…this lady’s father died of the same diagnosis, as did his father. The 2 paternal aunties (one diseased from a RTA) and one uncle were unaffected, as are her two older brothers. Her younger sister is being tested with a high suspicion of disease. I appreciate that she has a new daughter who she is very worried about regarding risk for this cancer…"
